The fried catfish is so tasty. Others in my party enjoyed the grilled catfish. Several sides were served family style (white beans, hush puppies, cole slaw - both mayonnaise based and vinegar based, and okra). Meals also included an additional side so you won't go away hungry! The service was friendly and helpful! Ask for Renee!

My wife and I eat here fairly regular and the food is always good. Portions are large, what with the white beans, hush puppies and cole slaw, so we split one of their combinations. Service is always very friendly, but if they are busy they can be stretched thin.

For the cost it's not impressive. Sides are good but you pay for them . Paying for steak but eating Fish. The catfish is average. I found no difference between it and the meal from the gas station.

I have never been a huge catfish fan, but in this part of the country you find yourself with friends or family wanting catfish on a regular basis. If you do, the Catfish House is probably as good as it gets. They offer several types of catfish, they are all pretty good. The sides are above average. The prices are... More

Not too many places in Springfield to have fish or seafood. Always good with great service. It's been here along time. Great for family dinners.

The food was excellent and servings were very generous especially for the price. Family atmosphere and fast friendly service.

Never disappointed when we stop by here! The Catfish is some of the best that I have ever had. Always have mine fried but it is lightly breaded and never greasy. Served with white beans, fried okra, hush puppies, vinegar & mayonnaise coleslaw and I usually have a baked potato. Mississippi white Catfish that is OFF the hook so give... More

Anywhere from the friendly service and smiling faces as soon as we walked through the door to the white beans, okra, and hushpuppies, before we even got our meal (at NO COST) everything was fantastic. It was more like going to a relatives house for dinner!! I had the all you can eat Giant THICK catfish fillets. The taste was... More

Any trip to Springfield Tennessee means a meal at Catfish House. When the waitress greets you to get your drink order she has a bowl of fried okra. After ordering coleslaw and white beans are served while the entree is being prepared. Don't forget to add the chow chow to the white beans. Catfish is perfect and always have enough... More

Overall, it was okay. The food was served family style which was unexpected but hey, we are flexible people so we rolled with it. I got the catfish, what else do you get at a place called The Catfish House, amiright? It was good, not dry and with a pleasant amount of breading. I liked the coleslaw (mayo) which I'm... More
