Home cooking, delicious burgers, scrumptious desserts. Good prices. Highly recommended if you like good food and friendly service.

This cafe was recommended by a couple of people in town. We went the first night, but they were closed for the evening. We went back the second night. The cafe is very popular and always busy. It's a small building, so it's crowded. But...More

We come to Townsend about once every 3 months or so and we go to Black Bear Cafe every time. Their fish sandwich is to die for, served with their homemade bread and great sides. I've never had a bad thing here, it is just...More

My wife and I eat here often. The food is great and the service is very good also. The only reason we don't frequent this restaurant more is because it stays very busy.

Wonderful dessert, down-home cooking and southern hospitality. It really doesn't get much better than that.

We stopped in for lunch on a very rainy day. It is a small cafe. We were seated quickly though. Everyone we interacted with was very nice. Especially the sweet lady with short straight hair taking the payments while their credit card machine was down....More

Debbie, the only thing we have is a House Salad and a Veggie Burger. Not sure if you eat fish, but we do have a mild white fish and Rainbow trout also.
