Great catfish and hushpuppies. Nice down home atmosphere in an out of the way place. A little expensive for fried food.

This little place serves a great plate of channel catfish with all the fixings!! Try the fried jalapeño peppers too. Always fresh, always comes with delicious hush puppies. Only open Thursday - Saturday.

Best catfish you will put in your mouth! The trout is very good as well. The blackberry cobbler is like momma use to make. It is sooooo good! The hushpuppies are large and come out at the start and have just the right amount of crunch to them. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The staff was... More

The last time I was at this place was 40 years ago as a child when it was a fully operational trout farm. I still remember it vividly. My 15 year old daughter and I meet a good friend there for lunch today and it still stands the test of time. Started the meal with an order of frog legs... More

Tucked away on a winding back road is a hidden gem...Granny Fishes House. Food, service and atmosphere all wonderful! My husband and I had the catfish and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!

I looked at a few of the negative reviews and decided to try to give you something objective. I live nearby and have been patronizing Granny for 20+ years. The 'Just OK' review says '$30 without alcohol'. When I eat there with my wife, we spend about $30 to $35 total plus tax. You can find the menu on line... More

Did a 200 mile RTE (ride to eat) with some buddies of mine and here are my thoughts; The restaurant is a log cabin and has a cool factor to it, place was clean, kempt with a very friendly wait staff. Location is a block off of Hwy 41 just about 6 miles out of Tullahoma, Tennessee. It is not... More

We have heard much about this place and after 7 years in the area we decided to give it a try. There was a few of us that had catfish and trout and they said it was pretty good. A few of us had steak and it was edible. The salad I had tasted like fish. Not sure if the... More

Granny Fishes is about 4 miles from our home (aren't we lucky!) and we try to get over there for a wonderful fish dinner 3-4 times per month. We are sorta stuck on our favorites: I love the fried catfish fillets and my wife loves the grilled catfish. And the baked potatoes are the best anywhere and the biggest! Aside... More

This is a great little seafood place in the middle of the country. They farm raise their fish and the stream and farm are found behind the restaurant. Great hushpuppies and frog legs. Amazing catfish and their fried pickles are the best I have had.
