My sister lives nearby and she raves about this place. So when we last visited Texas the entire family, 8 of us, went for breakfast. We had three children all under the age of 11 and five hungry adults, some of us jettlagged. Our breakfast was delicious and with more than ample portions. They make excellent tacos and were very... I have only eaten here for breakfast. Nevertheless, the breakfast tacos "rock". The service is quick and nice. I am gonna' treat myself to lunch and/or dinner soon. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed.

Hi, how ya'll doin? My review of this Mexican food joint is not going to be flattering. "Owner has a B.A." means BAD ATTITUDE!! We went to Bandera to ride the Twisted Sisters and the ride and views were great! However, this restaurant was awful. The waitress, Anita was sweet and the problem was in no way her fault. I'm... Not the tastiest, but it was warm. Staff were very friendly! Atmosphere not especially pleasing. Reasonably priced. Wishing we would have eaten elsewhere

There are not many good Mexican restaurants is the small towns outside of San Antonio, but El Jacalito (little shack) in Bandera is one of them! The salsa is a bit warm, but has a good jalapeño flavor. The chalupas are freshly crispy and packed high and the enchiladas have a rich, dark gravy that is spicy and so delicious.... More

That was our best breakfast experience on our trip to Three Sisters. The food was delicious and cooked well like at home.

Plain joint that serves authentic Tex-Mex. Good salsa with a kick, very nice tacos and very good cheese enchiladas; they nailed all the Tex-Mex staples. My wife had fajitas that also good with lots of fresh grilled peppers and onions. This is NOT your big city Tex Mex joint, but it is reliable good food and a good value.

Such a great friendly atmospher, super cool staff. The food is so great. My favorite Shelly Taco and the Menudo when in season, is the best ever! Also nobody can touch their spinach enchiladas. In my opinion, it is the ONLY mexican food in town.
