Love breakfast at Maxine's! Share the pancakes enough for 3 people! Good coffee, located right downtown, highly recommended.

Although it is a little hard to park right next to the restaurant there is a really close parking lot nearby. The staff were wonderful and attentive without being intrusive - meal was fantastic. I am picky about how my eggs are cooked and they did it right! Nice to find a place that understand over medium - bacon was... More

The wait was a little long on a Sunday morning but the food was so good that it didn't matter. I can't wait to go back and try all the delicious looking food we saw.

Went for breakfast, based off prior reviews. 20 minute wait, but worth it. Food was served hot and fresh. Wait staff enjoyed their job, were friendly and able to answer questions in details - including history of building. I had some special food needs, restaurant made good faith effort to accommodate.

If one plans to eat pancakes at Maxine--don't try it alone. One is sufficient to feed a family of four. Food was delicious, staff was friendly and the decor was cheery.

Maxines is a wonderful home style place. This is our second day eating here. Yesterday we arrived later and it was pretty crowded. We ended up sharing a table with another couple and became friends. A typical small town happy place!

Had to wait about 15 minutes for breakfast on a Sunday morning about 11am. Finally got in, and the wait staff was great. Really enjoyed the small town atmosphere. My buddy and I had the Chicken Fried steak with hash browns, toast and eggs - a meal fit for a king and his friend!! French toast was good too, as... More

Small but very homey and friendly. Great home cooking. The chicken fried steak is great but the pecan pie is to die for! Best I have ever tasted,
