We were with a good sized group of people (14), and Red Mesa Grill was ready for us when we arrived. Considering our number, the service was quite good. I had read a few reviews before we got to the restaurant, and was skeptical about the food. Just the aroma when we walked in the door was delicious! I did... More

I was in Big Spring, TX and was hungry for some Mexican food and decided to stop at this restaurant. I usually consult my trip advisor app, but I saw this place just passing by so I went inside (costly mistake). I ordered the three meat fajitas (beef, chicken, and shrimp) to go. The service was fast and the hostess... More

You have to pay for chips and salsa separately that was the first strike. The food is pricey and not anything to be excited about. Nope we won't be going back ever or recommending to anyone else.

Highly recommend the blue corn enchiladas. Have eaten here several times and it is always good food.

We spent the night in Big Spring on our way home from Colorado. We stopped at the Red Mesa Grill for diner after a long day on the road. It is easy to find on the main road through town. The atmosphere was good. There is a good variety of items on the menu. I had the blue corn tortilla... More

Nice place, nice people. Great margarita. Had a southwestern chicken - I'd order it again. Coworker had pasta dish, a little soupy, but spicy. Worth a try in Big Spring.

My family and I decided on a road trip to Big Spring. We decided to stop in and check it out. We started off with the chorizo skillet, it was very good, but greasy. I had the blue corn enchiladas. It was a large plate with black beans and Mexican rice and the enchiladas were chicken with a spicy green... More

Wait staff was very attentive. I got a green chili burger with sweet potato fries. Very large burger with a very tasty bun. Chicken Fried Steak looked excellent. I will probably try that next time.

Wow, quite surprised by this family operated gem of a restaurant smack dab in the middle of Big Springs Texas. I travel for business a lot and do reviews when the restaurant is exceptionally good and unfortunately when it is just plain bad. I went to dinner with a co-worker who typically likes nothing spicy or exotic (such as Sushi).... More
