Been here a couple of times. The food and the desserts are very good but they really need to redo their seating area. It is very blah.

We ate here for the second time today. This is a sandwich place that provides tasty food for exceptionally decent prices. You order at the register, find a table, wait to have your name called and enjoy your food in a nice family atmosphere. I...had the pastrami sandwich for my second time. It was warm, quite good and surrounded by chips. My wife had the half chicken salad sandwich with a cup of soup. We had a relaxed meal, enjoyed our time together and left expecting to return.More

We are a family owned restaurant that makes all the food from scratch every day. Bumdoodlers Lunch Co makes the bread every day starting with the basics life flour. Next time try our delicious pie. Thank you for your business!

Been here for 9 months and eaten here 9 times. Excellent sandwiches, and delicious pies. My favorite is the lemon meringue. They also have homemade soups.

I tried the chicken salad sandwich today. It was fresh, moist and tasty. This was my 1st visit. The pies, cakes and cookies looked wonderful. I plan to try this next time. It was lunch time, so it was bustling. I noticed a lot of...people seemed to know each other. I’ve always heard “eat where the locals eat” and I think Boomdoodlers meets this criteria. I predict another visit in the near future.More

Variety of menu, homemade soups, sandwiches and pies. You won’t leave broke or hungry and you’ll go back! Eat in or take out. Love Bumdoodlers!!!

Multigenerational hangout for locals in need of a tasty & consistent lunchtime sandwich. If you go at noon, be prepared to stand in line - it's that good!!! Our family favorite is the Brainstorm - everything in the shop plus some!!! Half will generally feed...an adult, but perhaps a growing Teen needs a whole one!!! Different days bring forth different soups - Split Pea is my favorite. All the meringue pies are excellent, but of course, the chocolate is the best!!!More

This place is well known for its pies, but has a great lunch menu. There are a variety of sandwiches that will please anyone and the soups change daily. The potato soup is very good. My wife had the Reuben which was also very good....There is usually a line but you can typically get a table in one of the several dining rooms.More

We agree with most of the previous reviewers. The building is old, weather beaten, and on at least 3 different levels. Watch your step? Tiny kitchen, with efficient workers. Workers, not chefs. I loved seeing the ladies with long pony tails, and no hair nets....This place is about sandwiches. The rolls are nicely soft. They are large enough to hold the contents. I had the Bumdoodlers Brain . . . More than filled me. I ate and enjoyed every crumb. Did not finish the potatoe chips that came with. Sandwich was tasty. My wife had a half roast beef, and that was also tasty. Boerne has several good soup and sandwich places. This will be our first choice next time. We did not taste them, but the pies looked good The merenges were sky high. The back dining room is dark like a cave. Try to eat up front. Big sandwich, big drink, half sandwich, little drink totaled $17.43More

We were recommended to this spot by a local. It is very campy and busy. I had a Corned Beef Ruben which was very disappointing. The bread was soft in stead of crunchy. The meat was good but not hot. They had a great 1/2...sour pickle. My wife had a chefs salad that was very good and generous portion. The atmosphere was very eclectic and campy. Very busy at lunch time. Great Service and very nice peopleMore
