Spotted this little cafe as we were driving down Main Street on a Saturday morning. It was pretty busy but it didn’t take long to get seated. The dining area is pretty small so I felt a little cramped but they do have outside seating...as well. There’s a nice selection of pastries when you enter and they all looked delicious. I went with the cream cheese braid but for me, it was just average. I guess I’m use to the cream cheese pastries at my local Michoacana bakery. I think next time I’ll try the bear claw. They offer a breakfast buffet which costs $15 and I was told that it included “generic” breakfast items. My husband and I were debating on the buffet but to be honest we didn’t wanna spend all that much for breakfast. I ended up getting the quiche Lorraine and I was satisfied. The crust was nice a flaky and I thought the slice was a decent size. My husband is pretty boring and got the pancakes. I don’t have much to say about those other than it’s a pancake lol! But to be fair it did taste better than an average pancake. I think maybe it’s made with cinnamon or something that made it more flavorful. We both had mimosas and they were good too. On the way out I decided to get a lavender honey latte for the road and I thought it was simply delicious. In fact, the next morning as we were packing our belonging to check out of our hotel I had my husband make a run down to the cafe for another latte. Overall the service was a little slow (it was super busy) and the food was ok. But I really liked how this cafe was near our hotel and it had a small town feeling which I enjoyed. I would definitely give this place another try but next time I’d go for the buffet and the bear claw.More

Fresh and delicious healthy and hearty Bear Moon is THE BEST PLACE to stop in for fresh coffee and breakfast/brunch. I live in Boerne and it's one of my favorites!!

We enjoyed the tasty chocolate cookie and raspberry crown. Also bought Cranberry Scone based on reviews that it was so good. Sadly ours was tasteless. Friendly staff

I went here for breakfast and the staff didn't even acknowledge me. There was no sign stating to wait to be seated or to seat yourself. I finally asked and was told by the lady at the register to take a seat. Next, a man...asks for my drink order and when I ask about the buffet, he says it is just a bunch of generic items and that they no longer offer pastries with the buffet. I noted that the menu says it does and they should change the menu. The waitress comes to take my order and doesn't know if quiche Lorraine was made the night before or not. Really? She didn't find out when she arrived? Sure enough, they were out so I ordered the broccoli quiche. I wanted tom pay my bill so, i went to the cashier ( she and another employee were laughing and joking and I had to ask to pay) I was told to wait for my server. Not once was I greeted, not once was I thanked and they really didn't care that I was a customer. Rude and bad service.More

I had 35 minutes to prep for a meeting and stopped in for a quick chai before a meeting my client. The Manager decided to change out who was working on the cash drawers while 8 of us were waiting to order. After waiting in...the counter line 14 minutes, only one person was helped and those of us at the back of the line began to leave without being served.More

Strongly recommended and deservedly so. Went about 10ish on a Saturday and they were sold out of "work famous" "sticky buns". Settled for an excellent bear claw while waiting for an equally excellent breakfast sandwich. Apparently a local favorite and with good reason.

While shopping in downtown Boerne I stopped in as a possible lunch place. Place was busy so I just grabbed an apple fritter to go. First I was surprised at the high price, then when I bit in I was disappointed. Fritter tasted like day...old and for 3.25 I expected much better quality.More
