We were in Boerne to visit caves in the area. We ate there on the first night and were very pleased. The food was good and in adjustable portions. I had a small portion that was just right. My wife had the chicken tortilla soup that was very tasty.

My husband and I really love this little place in Boerne, TX He likes the sausage plate, and I like the Hearts of Boerne Salad. They also feature monthly specials and desserts. They also have homemade soft pretzels that are to die for. They are excellent!!! Cozy little place next to the river in Boerne.

I have to admit that the "Duck's" fish and chips are the big draw for me. However, they have a lot of other deliciousness on their menu. Service is always courteous and adds to the good experience. The Dodging Duck is host to many craft beers for brew enthusiasts. Ya gotta luv the Duck!

Good food, good beer! Need I say more? OK, the beer approaches extraordinary and if you want to try something amazing, their Ales (often with local flavors like pecan or cedar) have imaginative flavors that are worth the trying (and this is from a beer traditionalist). The menu is varied and hasn't disappointed on my several trips; the sausage plate... More

Dodging Duck host kilt night and locals play music, sing and wear costume to themes or kilts. Nit sure if Tuesday is always kilt night so you might check.

Great place to stop for a lunch and a brew. Beer sampler was good. My wife loves the salads. We come here often. Meeting for an early lunch is perfect.

My husband and I eat at the Dodging Duck very often. I love the Brewhaus burger because it is well seasoned and the meat is not dry. The employees have good customer service skills. The Dodging Duck has a variety of brewed beers. Awesome place to eat outside across from the river!

It was our first visit Saturday late afternoon around 4pm. We were seated right away but it took a long while for someone to come and when she did come, she seemed bothered having to serve us. Then they were out of 2 signatures beers out of 5 or 6, I love beers and probably would have ordered one of... More

Had the Fish and Chips. First off it shouldn't be a big filet. It should be strips. Call it fried fish not Fish and Chips. Home made Tarter Sauce wasn't even close to a Tarter Sauce. Whole thing was bland and tasteless. Wife had a Chicago Dog which she says was very good. On to the Brewhaus part which is... More

Description
The Dodging Duck Brewhaus is located in Boerne, Texas, in the Texas Hill Country. We have an eclectic menu of international and local favorites, from Thai Lettuce Wraps to Chimichurri Grilled Beef Tenderloin to Bratwurst & Sauerkraut. Best of all, we brew great beer! We've already won three gold and three silver medals at the World Beer Championships! Enjoy the ambience as well! Sit on our covered deck and watch the ducks play on the century-and-a-half old mill pond of Cibolo Creek, have an intimate dining experience in one of our lakehouse-style dining rooms, or sit at the wraparound bar and talk beer with the brewmaster (or talk Boerne with the locals)!
