Dodging Duck is one of my favorite go-to restaurants in Boerne. The patio is great on a nice day, and they have a diverse menu for a small restaurant. The food is always well prepared and fresh, and the staff friendly. Plus, they offer a small selection of in-house brewed beers that my husband enjoys!

We enjoy stopping in at The Duck when we are RVing through the Hill Country of Texas. It is always tasty, the ingredients fresh, & we enjoy looking to see what is new on the menu. The asparagus is a must!

Sat on the front deck to get the river and duck views. Had the Caprese salad and one of their special brews. The brew was good, the salad was average. I found the prices a bit high. The waiter was friendly and very polite.

Good customer service but some menu items disappointed us. Sandwiches with little substance, no dressings. Beef ordered medium rare was way overcooked. Lovely atmosphere, great beer selection.

We stopped in this sort of rustic appearing place in mid-March 2017 for drinks and a light snack. We were seated and ordered drinks. Then, we decided on a pretzel and sausage appetizer. Among the drinks were a couple of micro-brew beers that are brewed onsite and also very good. The ladies had spritzers. The appetizer complemented the drinks very... More

What a surprise! The two meals we had for lunch were great. Loved the chicken tortilla soup. My husband had brats with German potato salad ( one of the best ever. Touch of sweet made it special). He also had Sauer kraft made worth a tpuch of beer. Please stop if you're are in Boerne,TX.

The restaurant has a very charming, rustic setting. It was once an older home converted to a restaurant. There is an outside verandah to dine on as well as inside rooms and outside lawn tables. Your view is of the river and river walk. The lunch menu has a nice variety of choices although I felt for the portion it... More

Nice patio seating looking at the river park. Ashley, our server was knowledgeable and attentive. I had the venison bratwurst and the jalapeño and cheese bratwurst served with spicy mustard and cranberry mustard. The combinations were great. My son tried the antelope burger and sweet potato fries, and said both were good.

The Dodging Duck Brewhaus is located in Boerne, Texas, in the Texas Hill Country. We have an eclectic menu of international and local favorites, from Thai Lettuce Wraps to Chimichurri Grilled Beef Tenderloin to Bratwurst & Sauerkraut. Best of all, we brew great beer! We've already won three gold and three silver medals at the World Beer Championships! Enjoy the ambience as well! Sit on our covered deck and watch the ducks play on the century-and-a-half old mill pond of Cibolo Creek, have an intimate dining experience in one of our lakehouse-style dining rooms, or sit at the wraparound bar and talk beer with the brewmaster (or talk Boerne with the locals)!
