My wife and I went to Casa Rod this evening not realizing that today is Fat Tuesday of Mardi Gras. They had a special, the El Tomas dinner that was absolutely wonderful. I had them add onions to my enchilada and topped the meal off with a chilled mug of Modelo with a slice of lime. Wow. Great meal. Our... More

Being new to the BCS we tried many different mexican food venues and by far Casa Rodriguez has been our favorite. Prices are decent, food is hot and fresh and wonderful chips and salsa. Also very family friendly and that is always a plus!

We have been going to Casa Rod for about 8 years now. For the past 3 or so, my wife and I always say the same thing as we are leaving; "Don't let me forget next time, it's really not that good". The service is ok and food is inconsistent. I would look elsewhere unless this is one of your... More

Not fancy or trendy at all, this is more like a one of a kind, family owned Mexican restaurant. They serve traditional food like enchiladas and tacos. I had a spinach salad and the chicken and cheese on it were especially good. My boyfriend had a taco, enchilada combo plate and he devoured it! The salsa was good - it... More

We often go to Casa Rodriguez after Texas A&M home games. Though it will have a good crowd, it's far enough away that the wait, if any, usually isn't bad. Great Tex-Mex, with a wide variety of choices. They even have a couple of TVs so you can check up on other college football games. Great place!

While we were in town for Bryan ' s Texas Reds, we decided we wanted mexican for lunch. We chose Cass Rodriguez, based on past experience. The menu is large and extensive. Including American as well as Mexican. Some of the items contain very imaginative combinations. Service was fast and very attentive. Prices are very reasonable.

This weekend was all about family getting together for my Mom's funeral! This was our last super as her immediate family. The wait staff was great! They got all orders, drinks, and answered questions. The food was good and worth the wait!

Family owned and run - Casa Rodriguez is a regular lunch or dinner stop on Aggie game day. El Mobley is grilled chicken and grilled onions on a bed of Spanish rice and topped with avocado slices and your choice of two flour or three corn tortillas. Get the half order and you'll still be stuffed. Vegetable fajitas are also... More
