Stopped in early evening. Most of food on buffet was unrecoginizeable. So we ordered burgers and fries. Burger was mediocre and fries were terrible

This restaurant mostly caters to buffet style meals. The breakfast buffet is not worth the price and they charge extra for the coffee! They did not have many choices for breakfast. It's lacking fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs etc. They serve bacon, sausage pattys, no links. The scrambled egg casserole has ham, green peppers etc, but it was Luke... More

We were traveling through here on a Sunday, and found this to be just about the only place open for lunch. We looked at the buffet and knew it didn't look good, and wanted to order. By the reluctance of the server and her scarcity, as well as the obvious fact that everyone else there seemed to be shoveling in... More

The buffet was loaded with a lot of different types of food, and all of it was very good. The inside is outdated but that lends to some local charm. The staff was friendly and for a good buffet it was priced well.

We took the Hill Country Flyer since that was what my husband wanted to do for his birthday. He is disabled and has to use a walker. I called the Highlander to be sure the bus would meet us at the train and bring us back. I was assured they would and that their bus was equipped for people with... More

I have left this restaurant saying "never again and never ever again" yet since I live in Burnet I invariably go back. Every so often it is actually good. Never great but good. Burnet is a very small Texas town and it is what it is. I go to Marble Falls to dine more than Burnet due to consistency of... More

I went on a Friday evening for the fried catfish. The catfish filets were very thin. Could not taste the catfish. The fish batter was hard. This was the second time I went there in about three weeks and the catfish was not very tasty either time. The gravy was very thin. I have been eating at this place for... More

Most of the animal mounts are gone and a complete face lift has been done. The food is still good old home cooking. I was there for breakfast and ate from the buffet. Lots of selection and good coffee. If you are going hunting or maybe visiting some of the wonderful vineyards in the area this is the place to... More
