This place is just down the road from our residence. My wife works nights, so on a lot of the nites she does work, we order from Hoover Valley. We usually order the Chicken Fried Steak dinner or the Hamburgers. I get the bacon cheese burger. Buns are the softest. Great place.

Great hamburgers freshly made to order. Great value for lunch or dinner. Fries cooked to perfection. Not over greasy.

Very friendly staff. We camp at near by Inks lake and always stop here. The hamburgers are great. Friday is all you can eat catfish night. Lets just say one serving is usually enough. I'm picky about my seafood having grown up on the Texas gulf coast but this place delivers. make the stop.

Attached to a convenience store and gas station, this restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and good food. I had the chicken fried steak and was pleased. The lunchtime crowd was 1/2 children; not ideal for some couples. We recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I enjoy stopping by here often....I usually have the chicken salad and he has the chicken salad sandwich. The hot beans that they have cooking are a good way to start the meal and the food is good. The people here are friendly and make you "feel at home".

Great food and service. Not too expensive. Loved the ambiance. Across the street from Perissos vineyard where we stopped for a quick visit.

We stopped while returning from Buchanan Dam to Granite Shoals. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich and I had the pulled pork sandwich. Both were very tasty and came with some very good potato chips. We had the lemon meringue and reeses chocolate pies which were good but not the best I've had. They are worth a visit if... More

The Wells', Wayne & Co. have created a great little hidden gem. You feel relaxed the minute you walk in. Don't know why we waited so long to visit. The food is totally Texan and wonderful, loved her pinto beans! Couldn't eat everything, so am looking forward to trying the catfish and pie, next time. Great people, food, shopping and... More
