Although the name of this restaurant is "Surf & Turf", most of the customers are here for the "Surf". They don't have a big dining room, so there is always a wait. You will smell the food as soon as you walk inside. Our last visit last week just happened to be during the crawfish season. A lot of people... More

As we stepped inside, the aroma from the kitchen excited our senses and reassured us that this was a good choice. Then the wait began.... Several wait staff walked past us before one finally stopped and told us it would be a few minutes. We stood in the entrance and chatted for 3-4 minutes before a bus boy finally appeared.... More

Fried cat fish, fries and hush puppies were more than I could eat. Very good and fried just right. Salad came first which was a good cool start. The leftovers even warmed nicely later for dinner. Attentive server. A little crowded as it is popular place.

This was a great place with a fun small town restaurant atmosphere. You know you are getting something good when there is a wait for your meal and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I had actual surf and turf and my other guest had steamed snow crab and we both raved about our... More

One of my favorites since I first discovered this place about a year ago. So reasonably priced and everything I have tried has been absolutely wonderful. My hands down favorite is there jumbo fried shrimp. My godson likes their tilapia. My best friend LOVES their chicken fried steak sandwiches. You can't miss with this place. Family friendly with a little... More

The seafood, especially the jumbo Gulf shrimp, is very good, but the floor space at CR is somewhat limited. Go early or at off main meal hours to avoid the crowd. The locals know about the place and frequent it a lot. There are several shops around CR that offer things like cigars, firearms, and brew where one also might... More

This is the best seafood we have had. The portions are great and cooked to perfection. Casual atmosphere and great customer service.

I love their catfish. Everything I have tried at CR Surf and Turf has been wonderful. They do get busy at times but it's worth the wait. Great selection of seafood from shrimp to oysters and more. Definitely a place to try.

Really good food here. It is one of our regular spots. Seafood is alway great. Only complaint is the uncomfortable chairs ( hard wood ) when customers bring there own cushions one would think the management would take notice. Not yet
