The chicken fingers were quite good, not over battered and cooked fresh and hot. The price was very reasonable, making for a great value. Would definitely go back. Actually looking forward to going back.

While traveling through College Station this week, we stopped for lunch at Laynes ... touted to be the "best chicken fingers in Texas!" Trust me, these are NOT the best chicken fingers in Texas or anywhere. The chicken fingers had no flavor .. no seasoning in the flour or batter used as a coating on the chicken. No salt, no... More

Basic concept and so basic menu. Lots of hard core supporters of Laynes vs. Canes but I am on the fence as they are both good options. Down home feel as you enter and although commonly a line it moves pretty quickly. Chicken is tender moist and just right batter to satisfy. Fries toast and potato salad - just the... More

I like a place where you can just go into and order. They offer chicken strips and chicken sandwich. Great portions for the price. It was a busy afternoon before an A&M game. But the service and speed was fine. My only issue was the side order of potato salad was small.

This place was so much better than Cane's, which is just next door! Better value for the amount of food you get and they've been here longer than that other franchise! Their sauce is the ticket! More flavor and more peppery! A meal comes with fries, 5 full sized chicken strips, toast, and a side of potato salad! My daughter... More

There was hardly any meat on the chicken and the fries were soggy. I love the atmosphere there however and their prices are way better than Cane's.

Great crisp chicken strip. Unique and nice mustard based dipping sauce. Fresh cooked as we arrived at start of evening drive thru pick-up time.

Lots of food for the price. It only offers one item on the menu: chicken fingers and fries. The sauce is what makes it excellent. Not a place for everyday meal but a lunch spot when we come in town. I don't think we can stand the smell eating inside, but good choice for quick to-go orders.
