We went there with a group of friend to get to know the true Texas A&M's spirit and this place won't let you down. Great local food and local beers, really a great place to spend a nice night out in College Station....must go!

If you ever visit College Station you have to go to the chicken. Game days can be crazy. But this place is a must. Great tasting chicken. Good wait staff. Good seating if you go early.

Went with some friends, great atmosphere, billiards, dominoes, and all within an old Texas Saloon atmosphere. VERY COOL! Service staff was friendly and helpful, food was great!

As a family, we'll head over after church on Sunday. We'll have some Snuffy burgers, fries and sodas before shooting pool. Lots of visitors like looking at the snake..., he doesn't do much, but he did actually move while we were there last time.

I was sent to college station for work, so I reviewed a bunch of places to go while here. I agree that this is a place one must visit while here. we all had a few pitchers of beer, onion rings and chips with some sort of cheese dip (tad spicy). the music was played by juke box, I think.... More

Legendary food along with dominoes and pool who could complain?? NO ONE! We love this place and have raised our kids going here since they were babies. It was great when we were in college here but beyond that now!

As a former Aggie this place has a special place in my heart, but not for the drinking most people would think of. I loved the Chicken when I was in school. I love the food and the atmosphere. My kids have grown up going every few years and carving their names in the wood. Enjoy a slice of authentic... More

On a visit to Texas A and M we drove by Dixie Chicken and decided to go back later for dinner. It was crowded and a little loud. Not family friendly for those with little ones some patrons let the bad language fly. The food-burgers and chicken fried steak were good. My husband remarked we have now eaten there so... More

Ok let's lay it out for you. This is a bar not a restaurant. This bar attempts to serve bar food and it's not very good. If you drink enough beer and play some pool, then it will seem to be ok. As for the decor and atmosphere it is definitely an iconic tradition if you are a college student.... More

None of our food met our expectations! The burgers were junior size, Blt only had three small pieces of bacon an one tomato, buffalo chicken sandwich had one squirt of buffalo sauce and was burned sand so we're the chicken tenders !
