When considering a review of a restaurant, I begin by asking myself the simple question: was it what it should have been? It is difficult to pinpoint the disappointment that one feels with dinner at Fearings. Perhaps it is the bleed-over of the “casual” attitude towards dining that Dallas is so known for – but that one would never expect... More

Come to Fearings if you want to have a memorable dining experience. Whenever a colleague and I are in Dallas at the same time, we make a reservation for Fearings. It's costly, but worth it. We ask for the sommelier, and have him pick wines and food to match. Then, we sit back and wait for something we could never... More

We celebrated our anniversary dinner at Fearings, which was our first time to dine there. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was nice and unique with their variety of dining room options. We sat near the Chef's Table, it was mesmerizing to watch the staff work. The wait staff, the wine Sommelier, and the head chef were excellent and very... More

Great service, seated ahead of schedule. Not rushed. Fantastic Texas twist on each entree, very subtle but still not your Wisconsin pork chop. My wife had the salmon on a bed of some awesome homemade pasta. Great wine selections too.

Delicious fine dining. The bread basket was flavorful - and non traditional. The lobster bisque was a great starter, and the lobster potsticker was delicious and the crunch from the rice was a great addition. Chicken fried lobster was some of the most meaty and flavorful lobster I have had anywhere. It was a great treat to dine here.

You could choose the buffet which has so many tasty items, or you could choose the a la carte. The oatmeal is by far the best I have ever had. The breakfast burritos are also on point. The biscuit and the french toast bread they bring to start are worth the trip alone. The service here is spectacular. Glasses are... More

This is a favorite place for us. We really enjoy the food and have eaten here many many times. There are some unique dishes on the menu, particularly the shrimp taco and buffalo. There used to be an unusual duck tamale (fantastic) but this got changed to an enchilada (a bad change in our view). Avoid the menu items that... More

This restaurant is located in the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Dallas. The chef is well known, but he spent the time to visit all the tables when I was there. Several guests took pictures with him. The flood was amazingly flavorful here. The tortilla soup was excellent, so were the crab cakes. I had salmon which was cooked to perfection with... More
