This place has country atmosphere but the service was slow and the food wasn't that good. Not worth the drive.

I read the reviews and almost decided not to go because of the horror stories on service..I have to say i've never had better service! Leah was awesome and another waitress even held my 2 yr old son and showed him the crawfish tanks! They were super sweet. Food was delicious. I tried two of the appetizer i've never had... More

The gumbo was awful and the shrimp was way over cooked, it had no taste. These folks know about as much how to cook Cajun good as I do flying a Lear jet. Go somewhere else

Awful! When we walked in, the waitress told us to sit wherever. The restaurant wasn't busy so we quickly found a spot to seat our party of 5. Our waitress handed us our menus and left with our drink order. It was a short time and we received our drinks at which time we were ready to order... Kris, the... More

The people here are so rude.... The waitress greated us with a WHAT... Then she took our order while eating a hamburger... While we were there they fought with each other, was hateful to us, it was so uncomfortable that we payed and left ... will NEVER return ...

This is a very laid back BYOB outside atmosphere restaurant for mainly adults. I would not consider bringing my children here. Our food was good, overly priced we thought. Our BIGGEST issues were with the unexperienced wait staff. I am not sure what bothered me more... The lighting a cigarette on the patio where we were seated and proceeding to... More

First time eating here. Wonderful deck and patio. More like a seafood dive so wear jeans! Place was packed on a Sunday night. The seasoned waitress did a beautiful job. She was well informed and listened to us. She recognized we were from out of town and staying at a local resort. She made us aware of a discount that... More

We've eaten at Cajun Bayou twice and each time were told that we'd have to wait at least 30 minutes before we would be served the crawfish we ordered. The first time we went there we had to wait 1-1/2 hours before being served, and we noticed that everyone in the restaurant was also waiting and no one had food... More

HORRIBLE!!!! This place is appearantly now called Crawdaddys. We drove 40 miles from Palestine to get here. This is the worst place I have eaten in years. We arrived about 6:00PM last Saturday. For a beverage I ordered unsweet tea since most sweet too is WAY too sweet for me. Silly me, I thought they would have artifical sweetener I... More
