This place is amazing. Unless you are on a diet. In which case watching the food go by will surely make you cheat. But well worth the cheat night. A little greasy, but how else should a real burger be?

I've stopped at Jake's several times as I return to Fort Worth for a convention every year. The burgers and fries are consistently great. The chicken sandwich is good as well. Service is usually good, not great but everyone is friendly.
