Fantastic food, my wild catch redfish was fantastic, mixed with couscous. The place is very typical western ambiance located in Stock Yards. Recommended

The front of the Lonesome Dove is a bit different and looks like a plain wood door. Open it and the interior is very nice. The bartender was great and mixed great cocktails. We were seated at a nice table. The food was excellent and offered some unusual choices. We had the chefs signature steak dish and it was all... More

What a brilliant place. The food is awesome. Chicken fried steak and elk - both were fantastic. We had a side of the Brussels sprouts and ate the lot. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars was because we found the place very dark and like to be able to see the gorgeous food we were eating. Maybe... More

Not perfectly, but enough for to give it 5 stars. (If there... More

Was absolutely thrilled to stumble upon this place. Unassuming from the outside, but we enjoyed a lovely refined meal. Nice veggie friendly options in the land of steak. Sat out back in the patio mid day. A quiet peaceful oasis from the noisy street. Highly recommend this as a location to enjoy a meal unlike others you'll find in the... More

I have a never had such a terrible experience at a restaurant of this supposed caliber. I was with a group of 12 ladies who had traveled in to Fort Worth for a birthday trip for a friend. One of the highlights of the weekend was to eat at Lonesome Dove Bistro. Due to inclement weather we were running behind... More
