German food was lacking. The Ruben not good at all. The Scotch egg was good and beer was good. The rest of the food was just below average. We won't make a second trip here.

They had several pale ale selections as well as a couple IPA's, but in the German tradition, they need to serve a wheat beer.More

Hi Bill! We are glad you stopped in - we actually do have a German Style Hefeweizen it is just not on tap currently. We normally brew this wheat beer in the summer time, sometimes in the spring and fall. Check out our website or...More

My husband and I went for dinner on a Sunday evening and were not impressed. The food was so-so and the wait staff was not helpful. No one told us about their beers, just simply wanted to know what we wanted. I’d skip it.More

Popped in here one lunchtime, fairly busy so we sat at the bar and ordered a 6 sampler. Perused the menu and went for the scotch eggs and beef potato skins, both excellent. Washed down with a couple of glasses of the Oktoberfest. The server...More

The service was so efficient I felt like we were in a tourist mill just trying to get us out the door. The sausage plate was good as was the blonde ale. But their IPA was uninspiring.

Definitely a good place to eat & drink your favorite food and brew. It’s a popular place so you will have a waiting time before you are served your food but you can enjoy the different beers they offer. The German food choices are all...More

Yes, please call the restaurant. They may have special menu not on the website. They have an excellent location on Main right in the midst of town in a lovely old building with courtyard out back.
