Excellent ! This brand of sausage has been our favorite for years. Old fashioned flavor better than homemade.

It you want German style meats, this is your place. I buy pork tenderloin here and it melts in your mouth. A great place to shop for a picnic, snacks, fast meal to prepare a home. It beats the grocery for quick parking and running in for food. I have not have their sandwiches, fixed to your taste, but I'm... More

Ops's Smoked Meats has been pleasing palates for years and like fine wine gets better with age. Whether it is healthy or not I start each day with an Opa's Cheese & Jalapeño Sausage. When in Fredericksburg don't miss their wonderful working showroom with fantastic cuts of meat and my favorite a wide variety of smoked offerings. On a typical... More

Opa's has the best sausage on earth! I use to load up a cooler every time I visited Fburg but I am now able to find it in my local grocery store. Hallelujah! They also make an all bee sausage!

Picked up summer sausage, sausage, and some peach honey. I am able to get some sausage here that is not available in my local grocery stores. The summer sausage is fantastic but really addictive. The peach honey is awesome! Stop by and pick something up!

I always stop in when I’m visiting ol’ Fredericksburg. My grandparents Oma and Opa would bring us kids some beef jerky for Christmas every year. So it’s on my Must Visit List. I got some Beef Tenderloins and their Chicken Salad. It’s all good. They also have a variety of jar items which I took photos of.

We stopped in for brauworth and came out, not only with that, but bacon, summer sausage, and liver sausage. They have a great assortment of peach products, even peach honey and peach butter, and so much more. We were told they will ship, also, when ordered online.

Love Opa's sausage so, it was an unexpected treat to find the store where it is made. This is not a restaurant but more of a deli. Aside from the sausage, there are smoked meats, condiments and and very good sauerkraut. Don't want to carry it home? They ship.

We stopped here to pick up a few meats and cheeses to eat at our motel to give us a break from restaurant food and prices. Honestly, it was one of our best experiences in Fredericksburg. The lady behind the counter quickly began cutting up bite size samples of their meats. After sampling a few we decided on their cured... More
