Husband's hamburger was raw. Not pink, raw. They only had canned sodas and ice was out for all to touch. Only positive, appetizer of fried mushrooms was good.

The location is out of the way, but the food was fantastic and the service was friendly and quick. We tried the burgers and onion rings. You can dine inside our out on one of their patios overlooking the Texas Hill Country.

Stopped in before going to see the bat tunnel. We had jalapeño potato soup and onion rings. Both were wonderful. Worth a trip. We will definitely go back if in the area again.

Love this quaint burger joint. Delish handmade patties and buns. A fried avocado...hmmmm...a must try. Can't miss the krusty fries and homemade onion rings either. They have other tasty options but the burgers are the best in TX...so that is what I always get. Big burgers so hubby and I usually split one unless we are starving.

Out in the sticks but a good place for casual meal. Honor system for your beer and wine....image that. Band on weekends and they are located close to the bat cave. That's another stop if you travel out that way.

My family and I took a day trip to Fredericksburg and decided to try Alamo Springs Cafe after visiting the park nearby. It was a bit crowded but we found and open table after a few minutes. You grab your own drinks and the waitress takes your food order. They offer several different wines and beer. We all ordered burgers... More

Very nice staff and great burgers make this place worth the trip. Come close to sunset and see the bats come out just down the road during the summer

We traveled to Fredericksburg from Austin to try a place called Burger Burger but for some reason, they were closed on this particular Saturday. It was a blessing in disguise! Alamo Springs is just outside of the city and well worth the short drive. The burgers are fresh patties (not frozen) and their buns are simply the best! Onion rings... More
