Enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service. Get there early, they are always busy but well worth the wait! Easy walk from Harbor House Marina / Pier 21 if you are boating into Galveston!

I stopped here for lunch as I didn't want anything heavy with it being so hot out. It looks like a dive from the outside and not the best decor on the inside but don't let that fool you. I thought I would try the...More

There is no question about the numerous GOOD seafood restaurants in Galveston. But the Black Pearl offers other specialties, as well. BNot in the mood for seafood? No problem! there are plenty of choices for any landlubber!

I've been dying to try this location for some time now && honestly I was disappointed. From jump the line was long (assuming great food) honestly from slow service. We decided to sit at the bar instead wait the 45min the waiter had told us....More

We did not stay to eat based on the small size but high price of their gulf oysters. The decor was nice but the limited menu was also disappointing.

Really busy during our visit but this is a good thing as it shows how popular it is. We were seated after around 15 minutes but we waited at the bar with a drink so no problem there. Lots of choice in the menu and...More

This place is always packed apparently - it is fairly small and patrons take their sweet time. We waited quite a while to get a table but there were 2 huge parties to the restaurants defensive. Stick to beer and wine here as the "cocktails"...More

Reasonably-priced, comfortable, good service, simply-prepared dishes. Oyster po-boy was a mountain of fried oysters, way too many to squeeze into a sandwich, but that's not a bad thing. Good cole slaw. Fish tacos, as always, were great. With a nice glass of Chardonnay and a...More

Hi, I don't know what happened as we had a great experience. We put our name down with the man at the door then headed over to the wine bar opposite. Quite quickly he came over to tell us that our table was ready ! A shame... More
