First time eating here. Great service and food but a little pricey. Had crab cakes and eggs and was delicious.

Fast service, the food is delicious!! We enjoyed the fried shrimp and fried catfish!! Cole Slaw & hush puppies were also very good!
Friendly staff, fun ambience, great place to eat that Poboy you inevitably crave when you come to the island. I had been looking for a good shrimp poboy in Galveston since Hill’s Pier 19 closed. (i.e. a LONG time) This was our second visit—that means...More
I have visited both locations and did not enjoy the downtown location. It’s finer and fancier, but the service was not as quick and the prices were higher.

First time we have tried this place out. Gumbo is really good as well as the hush puppies. Neat atmosphere. Food is fresh. Really enjoyed eating here and will def return when we come back to Galveston.
See my review for the downtown location. It actually should have been for the Avenue O location. Great food!
I ate here while in Galveston on business. The shrimp and catfish are great! I liked the atmosphere and the local feel to the place. Skip the big chain restaurants and try a small place. This place is great.
