This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The only item that tastes normal was the rice. The hot and sour soup was disgusting and the sauce on the beef was more like a watered down gravy. Cute restaurant but obviously has gone downhill.

My review of the restaurant is very sad panda. However I will mention the good thing about this restaurant first. I did like their chicken dishes had good white chicken meat. The things I did not like about the restaurant was I ordered general Tso chicken, and the sauce I have no idea what it was, but definitely not General... More

Within in walking distance from hotel. The dining rooms are divided, about six to eight tables in a section which cuts down on noise and makes it a little more intimate. Still family friendly. The food was ready fast and was hot and fresh. There is a very healthy amount of food per order, more than one person can eat... More

Had lunch there today. Building needs some updating, an old Steak and Ale. Tables need a good cleaning, kind of sticky. Lunch was okay, not bad for the price.

Sure the place is sketchy looking but the food makes up for it. The food was the best I've had ever at any Chinese restaurant. If you are in Galveston you must go here.

No tofu???? Jeez. Food was yucky and service just as bad. Soup left a lot to be desired. Dau got sweet and sour chicken. Basically fast food fried chicken and a pile of rice with no veggies at all. Very disappointed.

The Happy Buddah was recommended to me by the folks at the hotel and it was a great recommendation. I had a Cantonese dish with beef/chicken and lots of vegetables and it was masterfully done. Great service, decent pricing. Definitely a place to hit if you're travelling in Galveston and have the urge for Chinese.

Went with a large group. That meant lots of dishes to see and sample. Some things in common: portions were enormous. Piles of rice and ample amounts of named element of the dish. Problem was that most of the names elements looked a lot alike. Fried rice was fine. My pork dish was ok, but so much sauce that it... More

Great food, large portions, good service, fair prices. We shared the appetizer platter and an entree of General Tso's chicken - menu didn't state that it came with rice so we ordered the vegetable fried rice which was delicious.

Nice large portions. Great service. Excellent food. Went with a group of 6 and we all tried different entrees. We were all very pleased.
