My partner had the butterfly shrimp, which was ok, but greasy. I had the crab alfredo, which was not enjoyable. Crab was overcooked and pieces were tiny. The sauce flavor overtook the whole dish. In spite of having to wait for a large table order in front of us, the crab dish was barely warm when served. Not what I... More

Don't eat here. Don't waste your time or your money. No fresh fish. I ended up with fried shrimp and "white fish" which was Polluck. So practically fish stick flavor. The cole slaw, and I'm not over exaggerating, was less than 1/4 cup worth. Seriously, 2 bites. Fries were good but anyone can cook fries. Hell, McDonald's can do fries.... More

Not fancy. But the steamed crab pot was excellent. Service not fast but Kedrin was a nice kid who did a good job. My wife's chipotle salad was good too. Reasonable prices.

Fun experience at Joe's. Good but not amazing service and great food. It wasn't busy for us and we had a lovely dinner.

As usual Joes Crab Shack was a proven performer. Great staff, good food, decent price. Friendly wait staff.

View of the water/beach from the outside seating area. The waiter (James) was very friendly! Had the TKO to drink and it was really good. The bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp were awesome!

Have been going to various Joe's crab shacks for years. But at this one in spite of plenty of staff no one really seemed to care. We were seated in the bar area with our two children, food was average and service was poor.

Part of a chain, the menu does not reflect the Galveston gulf coast with local fish, crabs, and dishes. Expensive with small portions. The clam chowder and bisque both were served only barely warm. The king crab legs were small and a small portion. What there was was tasty. The corn on the cob and new potatoes were mediocre. Service... More

We actually WALKED OUT OF THIS PLACE because 1. The place was filthy, the seats dirty the floor unswept. Screaming kids, no waiter in sight. Don't waste your money eating here.
