Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I'm a southern (GRITS) Girls Raised In the South. The food was yummy. My cousin's granddaughter who was traveling with us wanted grits. Our hotel's continental breakfast... That's another review. So we all wanted homestyle cooked grits too. Our waitress Brannon was delightful- a people person for sure. Between Yelp & local... More

Great Menu selection and daily lunch specials set the stage for excellent food no matter what you chose. Service was very attentive and our glasses were never empty. Our group had the chicken fried steak and catfish choices and were pleased with all. The onion rings as an appetizer were homemade and so good our party ordered another after the... More

Great little hidden gem. Friendly service and good food. They have several daily specials, we usually go a Tuesday, one of the specials is liver and onions. More than we could eat, brought some home. Very busy at lunchtime, but we've never waited very long.

This is just like the meals mom used to make. They have a really inexpensive lunch with about 6-8 items to select from. My favorites are the Liver & onions and the Fried Cat Fish. They all come with 2 sides and hot rolls.

Service is good had breakfast very busy place. Food was okay. Order came out timely. Coffee kept refilled. Would not be my first choice every time for breakfast but would go back.

This no-frills dining establishment, going on 25 years, is located on the west side of Grand Prairie, near the Bush Turnpike and the railroad tracks. The name says it, "Grill" before "Bar". Two thirds of the space is strictly dining. Red leather booths and four tops. Navigate through connecting passages to reach the bar area, or use the door on... More

I believe this is one of the best places in the Metroplex to have Breakfast. Always a big crowd on the weekends. I really like the pancakes here. Great home style cooking and a wide selection of meals on the menu. I've never had a bad meal here. Great service, friendly and attentive staff. Really good coffee also.

Found this place online. Old school 70's charm with mom's cooking. All sides are made daily and daily specials as well. Example, sweet potatoes, spinach and desserts are daily specials in addition to regular offerings. Chicken fried chicken is marinated the night before and hand battered. My favorite on the menu. Can't pass this one without stopping.
