I have to say that I was utterly disappointed visiting this restaurant. We visited with my other half's family a few months back. Indian cuisine is one of my favourite and I always look forward to trying new flavours and visiting new places. I had...More

Description
With a pedigree stretching back over 25 years, Golden Bengal Tandoori Restaurant & Takeaway is housed in a historic and listed building in Horsforth village, run by the same family for over 25 years and was one of the first Indian & Bangladeshi restaurant to open in the area. We are unlicensed, but you are welcome to Bring Your Own alcohol with NO CORKAGE OR SERVICE CHARGE. Our menu offers all the classic Indian dishes you would expect but has plenty to tempt the more adventurous palate including a choice of EXQUISITE SIGNATURE DISHES & EXCITING CHEF'S SPECIALS that you are unlikely to find elsewhere. Fish also features prominently in Bengali cuisine and dishes like Choudrani Jhool (Spiced trout cooked in a clay oven topped with fried peppers, fresh garlic, ginger and coriander and served with pilau rice) really showcase the variety that is on offer.
