While somewhat expensive, the food is superb, the service excellent and the ambiance conducive to conversation. This is Texas Gulf Coast cooking at its best. Tip of the hat for the spicy crawfish bisque loaded with crawfish followed by the very tender succulent soft shell...More

Let me start off by acknowledging the hostess. We called ahead of time to reserve a table and all that was left was seating in the bar. We said we'll take it. We show up late, because we missed our turn and we're not from...More

Down from the Dallas area looking for a change from our normal Gulf Seafood routine and boy did we come across a good one! Louisiana inspired seafood dishes throughout the menu didn't miss even once, along with a great neighborhood setting made it an all...More

This is a neighborhood joint and a white-tablecloth restaurant we well. Consistently fresh and Louisiana style seafood--Steak is not bad either. The 4-7 pm $4 beers and $5 cocktails, plus $11.00/dozen cold fresh gulf oysters keep the comfortable bar room busy every evening. One thing...More

Waitstaff was attentive, refilled water & beverages frequently...menu suggestions were spot on. The food itself was the best we have had. VERY impressed!

I did the Houston restaurant week special for 35$ and it was very reasonable. The gumbo was good and had a lot of meat. The seafood combo had pretty good fried shrimp and oysters but a little dripping in the grease like they didn't let...More

We try the menu on Houston Restaurant weeks and it's mix, the 1sr course (Oysters) is very good, 2nd course (Seafood combo platter) is not so good because the fried items (Shrimps, catfish & onion rings) is not crispy and 3rd course (Key lime cheesecake)...More

Most of our grilled items are glutten free. We also have mixed veggies, spinach, yams, Cole slaw, salads, etc as sides, not to mention the fresh shucked oysters or boiled shrimp, campechana, etc . as appetizers.
