Decent breakfast buffet. Did not order any of the a la carte options. Great bar for some after business drinks.

Stop by Hotel ICON and have a drink here! Staff is great and the ambiance is the best... love the Texas Flag on some of the chairs and the cowhide on others... Check it out!

We stayed at The Hotel Icon from 11/11/16-11/14/16. Every night we visited the Line & Lariat and ordered from their limited bar menu. We had beef sliders, chef's choice cheese board, roasted Brussels sprouts, cheesecake and other items. We also had a sampling of their adult beverages. Herbert and Elizabeth at the L&L Bar are the best. Friendly and great... More

You will not be disappointed. If Herbert is working the bar you will have great conversation, attentiveness as well as great food. Definitely worth a meal even if you aren't staying at the hotel.

This was our second trip to the hotel and we have spent a lot of time in the restaurant and bar areas when we needed space! We lived our server, Driss, in the morning for our breakfast service! Always a smile and always attentive. He was awesome! Our evenings usually found us lounging in the bar area and Elizabet was... More

I loved my pasta, and the service was excellent. I booked on open table and they really paid attention to my booking. I mentioned that we needed to be at the theater at 8 pm and that it was my mother's birthday and she would like a chocolate dessert. They not only got us out in time, but the dessert... More

I had both dinner and breakfast at the Line & Lariat this week and found both meals to be solid. For dinner I had the Cowboy Ribeye and it was well prepared and a nice piece of meat. Their menu doesn't feature of ton of choices but it seems what they do they do well. For breakfast, I had french... More

With lots of offerings on the bar bites and dinner menu this restaurant in the Hotel Icon lobby is worth a try. Elegant and upscale surroundings and ambience. Helpful and attentive staff. The gumbo is one of the best I've had in Houston!
