A glass of prosecco while awaiting our table. Starters of Oeufs Mimosas au Homard (deviled eggs, lobster medallion, fresh herbs, greens) and Bisque de Crabe et Homard (blue crab and Maine lobster bisque, chives, brandy) plus a glass of dry rose for me and pinot gris for my companion. For the main course, Sole Meunière (filet of sole, meunière butter,... More

This is truly one of Houston's best restaurants. There is nothing bad in the menu. I love their pate. Sitting outside or inside the ambience is the same. You feel like you're in Paris.

Chef Philippe continues to delight and surprise. On this most recent visit, We enjoyed a luscious mushroom ravioli, in a creamy sauce that was a meal in itself: Savory, delicate, with the flavor of mushroom dominating the subtle spices. The onion soup was divine, with clear broth and a disc of cheese floating on top, but not mixing with the... More

French restaurant serving consistently good food in a white table cloth setting. Two rooms one with a bar and the TV, silent mode, showing local sports and tables for dinners and a second in the back absent bar and TV. A nice place in which in both rooms you can carry on a conversation without raising your voice even in... More

This is an interesting place...It is a true French restaurant in Houston. Its menu is classic in nature, but execution is interesting. The bar is well stocked and drinks are prepared expertly. The appetizers were also "traditional" on the menu, but done with a Houston touch, big plates. The main plates (fish - sole and halibut) were well prepared and... More

Ate from the traditional menu - escargot, onion soup, duck a l'orange and crepe suzette with a nice bourdeaux. Very nice, good service, and overall a very enjoyable evening. Try it, you'll like it.

Chef Phillipe is consistent if nothing, The mushroom ravioli is to die for, save your bread to mop up every bit of the broth, I had the bison rib eye and my wife had scallops both excellent. This is the best french cuisine in Houston, Phillipe has earned his master chef status, one dish at a time..........

I should try different dishes but always ended up with the mushroom ravioli which is out of the world. We sat and chatted for 3 hours like the whole place was ours. We each otdered a cappuccino and shared the apple tart ala mode. Heavenly.
