Just had take out from Cafe India. Great lamb vendaloo, chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. Nice large nan and great gobi manchurian (cauliflower, onion and pepper) appetizer.

My husband and I ate here recently for lunch. Fresh naan (butter or garlic) was offered when we were seated. The buffet had a good variety of foods. We liked everything we tried except the schrimp curry which was just 'ok'. But the rest of the options had great flavor.

Today was my second time to visit this restaurant. The first time we went there last year it was great, but it was during dinner with no buffet. Today was a total 180°. The buffet didn't have much of a meat selection except for Chicken. All 3 types of chicken was cold and reheated. I mean the BBQ chicken was... More

The food was tasty - we tried the Chili Chicken, Lamb Mughali, Dal Dhaba, Paneer Kulcha, and Keema Naan. Food was a little too spicy for us though. The service was average. The place was empty when we were there, seems like most of the business is carry out. It is located in a strip mall and basic and bare... More

I want to Cafe India with two friends and shared several dishes which were all quite good. We had the Chicken Tikka Marsala, Lamb Curry, and a bone in Goat along with Garlic and Traditional Naan. We had a cauliflower appetizer which was very very good. All of the food was quite good, and the staff was very nice and... More

Went here for the first time and got the chicken curry and a garlic na'an to go. I was very pleased. I want to return and try one of the executive lunch specials.

I visited this restaurant last month during my visit to USA, in search of authentic Indian food. It was lunch time and buffet lunch was offered. Good variety of food but taste was not up to the mark. Yellow daal was half cooked and so were the other dishes. Pakodas were drenched with oil and naan was cold. Just eatable... More

The food was excellent, couldn't ask for anything else. The spices were authentic and made with care. The staff was on point and friendly. The one only complaint I have is the portions are real small. Smaller then the usual Indian portions. Be more apt to go back if portions were larger.

Living and working in the Galleria area afforded us a plethora of outstanding restaurants. So understand that when I visited my mom and discovered this unassuming restaurant in NW Houston near Jersey Village, I was elated. The food is authentic, fresh and delicious. Service is good and a liquor store is conveniently next door if you forgot to BYOB. The... More

The staff was so nice and helpful and the food was really good. They serve very generous portions so you could easily share with someone. I will definitely go back just to get the cauliflower appetizer, it was awesome.
