Arrival/hostess: I dined early for dinner while on a business trip to Houston. The restaurant was nearly empty and I was promptly seated without a reservation. Overall dining experience: fine dining but service was not attentive. I was eating solo and the waitress forgot about me a couple of times. Ambiance: modern Food: focus is on quality cuisine and presentation.... More

Most people go and celebrate Valentine’s Day the evening of February 14, whatever day it falsl on. We decided since we were out and about on this day going to a number of appointments, that after our last appointment at 1 p.m., which lasted until 3 p.m., we would go have our Valentine’s celebration as soon as we were done.... This restaurant is located in Houston's Galleria Mall area, very popular high end to regular shopping, restaurants, stores and more. One of the most walkable areas in Houston with sidewalks (yes, that's is not to be expected everywhere in the city) and very touristy area. The restaurant is very elegant and great for any occasion from business luncheon, meeting lunch,... More

The staff was really excellent. The sommelier knew his stuff very well. The quantum of staff repeatedly servicing was impressive. The wine list was a quality wine list. The food was good, but not exceptional. The ceaser salad was below average. The sea bass was above average. On balance, a nice ambiance and good experience.

Masraff's serves terrific and creative dishes for lunch and dinner. They have a nice assortment of salads and outstanding entrees. I had the grouper with asparagus--wow! It tasted wonderful and was displayed beautifully on the plate. The service is quite good, and they offer valet parking if desired. When in the Galleria area, it is a terrific place to dine!

My family dined with Masraff's on Christmas Eve, Needless to say, every table in the restaurant was full and there were many large groups with lots of children. Indeed, there was a nice party atmosphere and the restaurant was probably noisier than it would have been normally. But it was lovely. The food was great and the chef accommodated all... More

The place lost its charm when it moved to the strip mall. The food is very predictable and well - boring.
