Ten of us in a private room met for a business dinner. After our arrival it was more than ten minutes before we were given glasses of water, and then had to separately ask the waiter if we could order drinks. The food arrived very...More

We went with family and friends to the Sunday's Brunch to celebrate my birthday. We were 11 (made a reservation), and had a private room for us. The food is outstanding as always, and they have a brunch menu, with a fixed value that allows...More

Really appreciated a classy venue that was not too loud (great for holding a business conversation with larger group). Had a fish, shrimp, rice dish in a skillet that was amazing - spicy but not too overpowering. 🍳

I seldom give fives. After dinner this evening I can’t imagine anything less than a five. We were blessed to have the master sommelier of all of the Brennan’s restaurants acting as our wine steward, with a previous request that he select the wines -...More

The food is consistently good. Rich in taste and rich in calories. Save room for the dessert. They have things you won't find elsewhere. Take some free pralines home with you when you leave.

The service was outstanding. We've been to this well known restaurant many times and this time there were a few hitches. One chosen wine was out of stock. On the full appetizer platter lobster and oysters were not available. Aside from that the steaks were...More

Brennan's has been Houston's go-to place for special family occasions for generations, and there is a reason - Old School service and charm, coupled with Old World comfort food and luxury, a combination in short supply in the Greater Houston area. Located in the small...More

Great food, atmosphere and service. We had redfish and scallops which were delicious and fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. The pecan pie was the best I’ve had anywhere. Not sure about parking in the area so we used the valet ($5).

Hi - we decided to dine at Brennans as it was close to our hotel (La Maison in midtown - to be recommended - see separate review). This is a high end eatery in midtown with prices to match. We were shown to our table....More

I never sought out vegetarian options until very recently. Brennan's has an excellent kitchen, always eager to please, in my opinion. I would not be afraid to make a special request regarding vegetarian options or anything... More

Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.
