This restaurant is so unique that words cannot adequately describe it. You just have to go and experience. You would have to go across the border to get food more authentic Mexican. Service was prompt, and the waiter was courteous. The menu is extensive. I would recommend this as a "bucket list" place to eat while in Houston. There is... More

My daughter and son-in-law workiing in Saudi (repat) begged for Ninfas on Navigation so we indulged them and non only were not disappointed but esthatic! Service was 5 star and food most excellent! Ninfas has always had a reputation for quality but now has even improved on our previous experiences! Why go to another place to impress guests when Ninfas... More

Dinner for 4 adults, 1 teenager, and 3 kids is a good food experience, but it is a little pricey because you are paying for "original". Tax, license and dealer prep ran us $130 out the door, which is 10-20% above what you might do elsewhere. But it is Ninfa's and you walk right past the kitchen to get in.... More

We wanted to check out "The Original Ninfas" after we spent the night downtown for an Astros game. We seldom get downtown and this restaurant has routinely received great reviews and our lunch indicated they are well deserved! Service was polite and attentive, and our entrees were tasty and generous. The margaritas were not overly sweet or sour, just right... More

Once in your life you should experience the place where the whole Fajita revolution started. The place has kept pace with the times, renovations are good and the atmosphere is festive, as it should be. Expect to wait a while at weekends, buyt have a margarita or beer and kick back. Its worth the wait.

We arrived about 12:50 before an Astros game against the NY Yankees. This was a busy time for the restaurant. The hostess was pleasant and friendly and said the wait would be 35-45 minutes. She was accurate in her assessment as it was 50 minutes before we were seated. We were a party of 5 and most tables are for... More

Did you know that the fajita was invented in Houston? Some people say it was invented here. Whether or not the fajita was invented here - Ninfa's has definitely perfected it here! Delicious.

We were in Houston to go on a cruise out of Galveston and our hotel recommended Ninfa's. We went there and found the atmosphere to be very nice so we decided to stay and try their food. There were 5 of us and everyone loved their meals. This review is coming from me who has a wife of Mexican descent... More

There are several Ninfa's restaurant locations throughout Houston. I wouldn't make a special trip to this location. However, if you are looking for a "nostalgic feel" at the original Ninfa's restaraunt then this is the place to visit. The service was very good. The food was good, but it was nothing spectacular. It was also a bit pricy for "tex-mex."... More

I can't say it was the best Mexican meal I have had but definitely good and would go again. Friendly staff and seemed clean.
