My girlfriend and I have eaten at this restaurant many times. It is a "Dive" atmosphere but definitely a down home place when you go to this restaurant at the right time of day. The night life is the night life. All of the Legal Professionals, Doctors, Medical Students and IT professionals have gone home for the day; and the... More

Unbelievable!!! This place does not ever have very good food but it had been relatively affordable for a quick bite of Mexican. However....beware!! What Mexican restaurant does not offer both red and green sauce with their chips? If you want it here plan to pay an extra $2.99 for a small portion of green sauce. And unless you are drinking... Quick lunch with my brother in law, this is one of his favorite authentic Mexican resturants to eat at. Whenever my husband. His brother visits, they always wind up here. Not much atmosphere, but the food is delicious and the price is right. Definitely recommend this place if you want true authentic Mexican food experience.

If you're in downtown Houston, you MUST eat here, at LEAST once! They have great-tasting food with mice-sized portions. As a matter of fact, two people can split most entrees and leave, FULL! Enjoy!

Look beyond the shabby exterior, this place serves old school Mexican food in big portions. The salsa is spicy-- no really i mean spicy, not like most other restaurants that serve mild. The enchiladas very nice the fajitas a bit oily. But everything so tasty-- open 24 hours. Parking lot a bit wonky you pull way in then back way... More

We were in Houston, TX for a couple of days and wanted to try a variety of restaurants. We went to Chapultepec for Mexican food. As we drove up the place looked closed, but we saw cars in the back so we pulled in. It literally looks like you're walking into someone's back door. Once inside we were met with... More

This restaurant in not fancy, but it has been in business a long time. The food is consistently good. I tried the mole chicken enchiladas for the first time and was not disappointed. My husband had the chile relleno stuffed with beef and it was very good too. The prices are reasonable. On the weekends it is open 24 hours... More

Arrived at 10 pm immediately served our drinks, margaritas. Food arrived shortly afterwards and was very good. Waitresses, twin sisters were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return.

We ate here after an Astro's game on a Saturday evening. The food was superb, the margaritas were great, and the atmosphere was nice, quiet, and laid back. We throughly enjoy our time there. Was not super busy and we were seated right away. Only downfall is not a lot of parking but we did not have any problems, we... More

I have this thing about places that are open late night - I will never go to them during normal business hours. Chapultepec is one of my favorite late night eating spots. Perhaps it is in part due to many fond memories from having great philosophical and other meaningful conversations in my twenties, but I always feel at home when... More
