I took a large group to Irma's for dinner. All nine enjoyed everything ordered, and the service was extremely attentive. Irmas is not your typical Tex-Mex, an example, I had wild boar chili relleno off the daily board which was delicious. Our salsa and chips...More

What a find! Delicious flavors, roasted salsa was amazing, shrimp tacos are phenomenal. Great service, staff there is inviting and attentive. Chicken enchilada with green chile mole sauce was incredible. Didn’t try the cocktails or sample the beers (wines were great) but selection of local...More

I love mole’ and irma’s has it in several forms - over chicken breast, over a chicken stuffed poblano. Very tasty and everything was so fresh. People around us were enjoying the special lemonade and guacamole. Definitely recommended for a satisfying lunch.

Large restaurant, not that busy on the Saturday nite we visited. Limited menu, although a mixture of wild game meat in the standard TexMex dishes make many interesting. Had their Combination 1 (there is no Combination 2) with some wild boar. OK. It's a shame...More

Made an early dinner reservation for one, as in town on business and wanted something good, quick, and somewhere between cheap-eats and mid-range. I was encouraged by the other reviews and decided to give Irma's a try. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the...More

My husband and I had dinner here before a concert at the Toyota Center. This is a family run restaurant with high-quality, fresh Mexican food. We had the sampler plate with a beef fajita, cheese enchilada and fish taco and the tamales--both very delicious! Definitely...More

We were looking for some Tex/Mex food and decided to try Irma's on a Monday evening. We were seated at a nice table and our server was Jacob; quite a character. He started out with, "Let me tell you about our menu" and went on...More

We stopped in at Irma's at 3 p.m. on gameday of game 4 of the Dodgers/Astros world series since it's right down from Minute Maid Park. We were lucky to get in right as they opened. While I was a little worried about being a...More
