This is a local restaurant in Montrose. This is nice for special occasions. We were here to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed the wine and the meals. We even had dessert. The Scampi Michelangelo was good. The Pasta Mista, sampler plate was very good. The waiter was great and always kept our glasses full. There was live music, with a... More

We had dinner with friends at this 47 year old lower Westheiner Italian Restaurant. Very good food and charming place. A Houston landmark. Same location all these years.

Still going strong and still fantastic. Started coming here when I was a teenager as it was a cool restaurant that a teenager could afford to bring a date. Every time we go we always enjoy it and are amazed that they continue to serve great food after all these years.

what a disappointment. The outside is dilapidated but inside good. the food was boring and tasteless. The service minimal. One sprig of broccoli on main dish with a tablespoon of pasta sauce on spaghetti. The piano player is very good just too loud for such a small place.

This is a good italian restaurant in the heart of montrose. The pasta dishes are divine. They also have several good Chicken dishes to choose from. I like the piccata. The wait staff are very attentive and there is plenty of free parking. An added plus is that there is a piano player every night starting at 7. It seems... More

This is such a consistently good Italian restaraunt that we have enjoyed since 1973. We love the way they prepare escargot perfect for dipping bread into the garlicky butter! It's too hard to decide on 1 dish, so thank goodness they have the chef's plate with a little of all that's good- cannelloni with veal stuffing, chicken parmigana, lasagna--all soooo... More

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Houston. Had not been in several years but decided to take my wife for our anniversary. Really disappointed how it had declined. The food was only fair and there were only three couples there during our 90 minute dinner. The piano player was good and nice but what I wanted... More

Restaurant in fair condition has some problems. Food is very good, service is also very good. Price is rather high for this type of food, not extremely high. Food is better than average, service is better than average. Have been going here for years and have always been satisfied with the food and service. Will be going back again.

Great place for intimate dinner with your own pianist. They will play requests and the food is great. We love this place!
