Lots of Louisiana-style seafood available, either fried or baked. The grits are very good here. The place was quite busy on Friday night, even though tried to get there early for dinner. Still service was very good and thoughtful.

When visiting our daughter in Houston, lunch at Pappadeaux is a must for me. We like going at lunch time to take advantage of their more reasonably priced lunch menu. Still plenty of great options, plus their delicious bread is always served. My faves are the Cajun Combo which includes shrimp creole, blackened catfish, and dirty rice. Also love their... More

I had a business lunch here and while in the south I always try the shrimp and grits. This did not disappoint. The grits were made fresh with great flavor. No box mix here! Everything was well seasoned and flavorful. My only complaint was that it took longer than I would have liked for the entrees to come out.

We come as often aas we can. Had dinner early and still packed. I had cedar plank salmon which was excellent. My wife had a new dish on the menu Moroccan Salmon. She liked but thinks cedar plank salmon is much better. Our daughter had the crab mac and cheese and loved it. This restaurant is stii great.

I was visiting with family. And this was my last dinner in Houston. The place was busy for a Monday night. But we were seated pretty quickly. The hostess was pretty nice. Our waitress was okay--we kept having to ask another person. The food was great. I loved the gumbo and crab cakes. Great atmosphere.

Used to love this restaurant. Not anymore. Overcharging for mediocre food. They charged about $12 more for an 'extra' sized seafood platter which was not extra sized. I felt comparatively this was worth about 1/2 of what they charged. The appetizer gulf coast raw oysters & boiled shrimp had absolutely zero flavor. Despite sharing this with the waiter when he... Went here with friends who have eaten here many times. It was fabulous. We all ordered different drinks and sampled each others'. All were excellent. Within our group, I ordered Cajun (crawfish etouffee) and others had seafood and steaks. We were all very happy with our food choices. It is a huge restaurant and the parking lot was packed, but... Been here many times. Love their sea food. This time had the Blue Oysters (fresh). Was amazing. Had the typical blackened fish & no complaints. Always crowded.
