My friends & I visited Fogo de Chao for lunch on Saturday. I made reservations in advance because the restaurant is busy sometimes. They have valet parking or one can self park for free at the back. We got a table next to the salad buffet. Brunch, which included both salad & various kinds of meat, was $40 each. There were different kinds of meat from chicken to beef & lamb. Service was good but our waiter could not be found when one of us needed sauce. He eventually appeared though.
The salar bar included vegies, mushrooms, salmon, & even dessert.
I would go back to this restaurant. Recommended as one of the nice places to eat at on Westheimer.

This place is an eatery a person can easily get carried away with. Chicken, steak, ribs, anything else a man desires in the near world is accessible. It’s like a Thanksgiving meal where you eat too much before realizing it. Great food. Great selection. Great service. You’ll enjoy it. Worth the $$$.

Was attending a work celebration lunch and enjoyed it. Always provides attentive service, delicious salad bar and sides (polenta, plantain, cheesy bread), and a tasty selection of meat on skewers. My three tips ... (1) order their house lemonade - it is SO good. On a past visit I was told it is made with sweetened condensed milk. Not sure if that is true, but it is so delicious. (2) You don’t have to valet park, there is free parking at the back. (3) if you’re debating between the one in the Woodlands and the one on Westheimer - go to the one on Westheimer. I’ve been twice to the one in the Woodlands and was disappointed both times. The only thing I didn’t really love on this visit was the private room’s seating arrangements - we were in a U shape which is bit awkward for talking, as you can only talk to the people on each side of you. However, still one of my favorite restaurants.

I saw an advertisement for a wood burning steak and it's what possessed me to try the place. I knew what I wanted when I arrived, but upon being seated I was only told how the buffet worked. So, I was unsure of the details. I ended up with the buffet for myself and my children at $50 pp. Okay, my birthday I brush it off, and are glad my children are enjoying the tastings of fine dining. We leave to use the ladies restroom, where each and every stall was completely filthy. Here I am, assuming that "refined people", "with money ", and establishment charging $50 a plate would be more sanitary. The handicap stall contained tissue paper flowing from the toilet bowl onto the floor, unflushed fecal matter, as well as various paper linings still on the seat. The second stall was the same minus the poop, and the last one checked had pee all over the seat. I've seen better hygiene at some gas stations than what I saw. We live 40 min. Away and my daughters and I had to hold it. This is why I'll never be back for that steak!

Due to the tax bracket my wife and I are in, an evening at a restaurant like Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse is only for special occasions. What better occasion than my birthday? Last year, we went to the location in The Woodlands. This year, the Westheimer location. What a delightful experience! The salad bar had so many more fresh choices to choose from than The Woodlands location. The food was perfect. And we could not be any happier with the service. We could not be happier with Mr. Juan, our waiter and Ms. Maria Laura, Manager. We will return to this location.

Don’t go!!
Salad bar roped off and inaccessible; staffed by servers with language barrier making communication impossible; meat WAY OVERDONE and poorly seasoned. Side dishes cold. But same exorbitant prices. Major disappointment, like most dining out experiences these days...

Recently visit the restaurant at Westheimer with two families around 6:30PM. We are very disappointment. I found the menu and setting changed a lot. First I realized that the meat options includes in $62/person has a lot less, and many type of meat you have to pay additional money; Second, service was very slow. Even we put green card facing up, for a long time no person to bring meat to the table. If you want to eat beef or lamp or ribeye, you have to ask your waiter and waiter has to ask the kitchen staff to bring to the table; the third, salad bar or sea food counter has less selection also. Before there has several kind of salmon and shrimp, and veggie. Now there is only one salmon, and mash potato, cheese, etc. The last, the dinner hall was a kind of messy and looks like not good organization. At this price, you can get pretty good taste food in Houston, not worth to go Fogo de Chao again. I have been to this restaurant several times. So far, i thought this is the last time for me. It is really not worth money to go. I paid 18% for tip and I really do not think the service deserve what I paid for.

Took my son here for his birthday. I have always like Fogo de Chao, but something about this last visit has me thinking; its just steak and potatoes. Yes, the salad bar is nice if not great. But, when the waiters bring around the skewers we had a choice of sirloin, filet, lamb, chicken and pork. They were not seasoned that well, and after several samples, I never really could settle in on what I liked the best. In the long run, and after the bill I realized that taking my son to the Palm, or Taste of Texas would have been just as nice and probably cheaper. The one things I wish Fogo has was hot vegetables. Salted mushrooms, grilled corn, anything!

My friend recommended me and six of my coworkers to eat at Fogo De Chao. I was excited because it’s all you can eat different types of meat. All you can eat salad bar. My friends and I was very disappointed. It took awhile to get straws. They did come and serve us lamb chop and other type of meats. So, we decided to go and try the salad bar. The salad bar was empty. I asked could they refill it. It took awhile to refill the salad bar. The salad bar literally didn’t get refill until it was time for us to leave. The place was not pack. The servers slowed down with offering us different meats. We basically seat there talking and then realized the serves are passing us up. I will never recommend this to no one. We called the manager the manager only charged us for the salad bar. The manager went into his room and argued with his staff. Then they started coming out with the meats. We was ready to go. The manager charged us for lobster and shrimp. We never received any type of shrimp nor lobster meat. The place would have been nice if they would have brought the meats and made sure the salad bar was filled. I would give Fogo De Chao a 2 for trying.

I have eaten at a Fago De Chao several times. This visit was disappointing. The place was packed. It was 6: pm on a Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. There were several large parties at that time. It seems the beef selection was very limited this particular day. One of the servers brought by one offering of beef. Then it was pork, sausage, chicken, pork, sausage, chicken. The guys didnt seem to have a routine or look for the cards/plates to know where to go next. The meat we did receive was dry and overcooked. We specifically asked if they could have medium and waited and waited..
This is not a cheap meal by any means. some of the guys serving were annoyed if you didnt take whatever they offered.
The waitstaff was very good. The one taking care of our section was very friendly.

Overall very pleased with our first trip here, which was a Sunday lunch. Our server was super attentive and friendly which added to the overall positive experience. The restaurant was extremely clean and well decorated.
We opted for the traditional full churrasco experience which included the market bar as well.
Everything on the market bar was fresh and was very good, but the candied bacon was the shining star for sure. As the servers came around with different types of meats, we sampled all of them and were very impressed. The picanha was by far our favorite, with the filet mignon close behind.

Have eaten here numerous times. Always a great experience & often to celebrate birthdays. Can't say enough about the awesome service, delicious food, & extremely friendly staff. Have been greeted by Paulo most visits. He's so friendly & always makes sure you get everything you need. Then on past 2 visits, we had the awesome pleasure of being waited on my Antonella. She's the BEST!! Prices have increased a bit but Fogo De Chao often has promotions to offset the price. They celebrate veterans every year which is really special. If you're looking for a special place to take friends & family, you can't go wrong here. It's a place they'll always talk about remembering the never ending servings of delicious cuts of meat or at least til you can't hold any more. I especially enjoy the salad bar & feel I've eaten an extremely healthy meal after my lunch. Love this place & can't wait to visit again soon.

We went here for a birthday dinner. I was excited to try it after years of hearing good things. But I was disappointed. First off let me say the entire restaurant was freezing cold, which makes it uncomfortable for most people. Went to the salad bar and it was nothing impressive. Everything at the salad bar was freezing cold, things that I would think that would be warm such as sautéed mushroom, cream, corn, roasted eggplant, and roasted cauliflower. Asparagus was awful!! Then they start bringing the meat and nothing was really good, it was all just bland. Restrooms were also dirty and no hot water to wash hands. We will stick to Taste of Texas.

My family and I went to Fogo de Chao for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The lamb chops and ribs were seasoned to perfection (thanks chef) and the wait staff was friendly. However, the reason I am writing this review is to give a special thank you the manager Alex. He stopped by our table to see how dinner was going and spoke with us about his hometown and family. It was a very welcoming experience and something that is typiclly missing in restaurants these days. We really appreciate his hospitality and look forward to dinning at this location again.

As Brazilian restaurants go this one was slightly disappointing.
We waited quite a long time in between the different meats coming round and the quality was ok but not as good as others I have visited in the city even though the cost was similar.
It was ok, but I’ll stick to Chaka Gaucha next time.
