Wondered about it after reading such good reviews but yes, they are darn tasty!!! I got the Churros and some sweet bread and both were delicious!! I even wrote a post about it on my blog. Worth a visit and then go exploring maybe Canino Produce or Reyes Produce across the street!

This place is a pan dulce lover's heaven! I've been here multiple times now, and it's always something special. A word of warning: except for a few staples, you won't find the same dishes twice. For example, on my first visit, a companion wanted churros. I was told that "we don't have churros." Then last night, hey had tons of... More

One of my favorite panaderias in town. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious pastries. When you walk in, the smell is heaven. It's always busy, but they are constantly stocking fresh bread and treats. Love this place.

The spot to pick up the best sweet bread in town. The smell seeps out into the streets it's so good. Great for company breakfast meetings, family gatherings and much more.

I have been going here for over 20 years and I personally know both Kirk and Bud, the owners. I took my granddaughters there at closing time, I was dressed nicely, but, MY BAD, I forgot my wallet. They were closing and I explained to the male locking the doors that I can come and pay the bill in 3-4... More

I went here on Christmas Eve and was overwhelmed with the variety of pastries they have. This place is worth a visit just for curiosity sake. Everything looked delicious and I was very pleased with what I selected.

Get two of everything. We went on a Saturday and it was very busy. The lines moved quickly but conversation was limited. If you go on a weekday you will have time to ask questions and gain even more weight. If you can ask them in Spanish even better. The cheese and jalapeño bolillos rock. The empanada made me cry... I don't care for most of the pastries but their tortillas and tres leeches are delicious. Biggest issue with place is the parking. It is very popular and they make a TON of money yet they offer very limited parking for patrons which burdens the neighborhood and encourages irresponsible parking by patrons. They bought a lot behind the store, cleared... More

YUM, YUM and YUM!! Anyone with a sweet-tooth will find something to their liking at Bolillo bakery. Like all good 'Panaderias', this Mexican Bakery has a huge assortment of sweet-breads (pan-dulce) and cake (pastel) to choose from. Located by 610 North and Airline, across from the famous Farmer's Market. The parking lot is small and it's always crowded. No matter... More

We had just left the market across the street and saw the bakery. The parking lot was full which is a good sign. We went in and it was really nice. I bought a lot and homemade tortillas . When you go in you get a pizza pan and tongs and walk around a pick out all your sweets. The... More
