Fried chicken was really good...took most of it home.. truffle oil chips were good as well. My dr is d is vegetarian had the roasted Brussels sprouts, Mac and cheese. She enjoyed it!

I love Max's. Interesting menu, very friendly staff, fair prices, and walking distance from my home. They are open late, open for dinner every night, and lunch some. Brunch is a sure bet on Saturday and Sunday. Try the Breakfast Sandwich or the fried chicken....More
Try the Bloody Mary and the jalapeño grits. Both are excellent. Menu also does a great job catering to gluten free options. Nice wait staff. Casual, comfy atmosphere.
I had brunch with a friend at the restaurant, and the food was terrific and the service was quick. I had the chicken and waffles and I must say, that was some of the best chicken I've eaten outside of my momma's kitchen.
