Try the Bloody Mary and the jalapeño grits. Both are excellent. Menu also does a great job catering to gluten free options. Nice wait staff. Casual, comfy atmosphere.

I had brunch with a friend at the restaurant, and the food was terrific and the service was quick. I had the chicken and waffles and I must say, that was some of the best chicken I've eaten outside of my momma's kitchen.

Had a great dinner here with friends. Great wine selection and delicious menu. Truffle mac & cheese is a must try. They do their fried chicken and collard greens (a bit spicy) really well. Kudos to them for executing upscale American fare very well.

A friend convinced me to try Max Wine Dive Restaurant and I have been hooked ever since. The food is amazing, great ambiance, and the customer service is noteworthy! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Houston.
