This place had really good reviews however the sushi was ok? They use chopped meat in the spicy salmon roll. Also tried the SoBe and I just didn't think the flavor was bland. They have a nice restaurant and bar area but don't think I would visit again!!

Blue Fish is located in a strip center with a few other restaurants and stores. As you come in there is a large full service bar that you can also order food from as well - if you are a single dinner it's a good choice. I believe they do take reservations but I have never needed one. It's not... More

Food was great (the Rainforest roll was superb) and reasonably priced. Our wait staff was excellent and gave us excellent advice on what to order (and what to not order!). We sat at the sushi bar in front of sushi chef Jin who was impressive to watch. He also had a great sense of humor which added to the fun... More

First off, I'm not a sushi fan so this is the only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars. I went with a group. The atmosphere is very good and the service was amazing. Our table tried all sorts of sushi and the rest of the group loved it. I stuck to the main menu and ordered grilled salmon. Best... More

Back in the day this used to be a good to sushi joint. Had lunch here earlier this week and the sushi is so so. The cut and hand rolls were made too fast and sloppy. The scallops are imitation, very similar to imitation crab, just a note and the uni was a bit watery and not firm with an... More

There are several Blue Fish in town but I like the Las Colinas one the most. The atmosphere is jovial and youthful. The long bar at the entrance establishes somewhat of a relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are creative and unique. Sushi lovers find their typical check list and the menu has a lot of cool fusion dishes. The best are... More

Description
...The opposite of a quiet, intimate sushi bar, the Blue Fish is enormous, loud, stylish and good. Where else can you find a signature roll called El Cubano ($9.50)? It's spicy pork, jalapeno, cilantro, Jalapeno pepper and carrots, with a sweet and spicy sauce. What's most refreshing here is that the menu is all Japanese -- no Thai food to confuse the palate. And to be honest, sushi purists will find plenty to keep them interested. Live specials such as Spanish mackarel, Sea Urchin, Live Hottate(scallop), Black Bass, mirugai (giant clam) and much more.Order the Ahi Tower to see just how well the kitchen can plate. It's tuna tartar and sesame oil over snow crab and avocado salad on a bed of wasabi infused rice. It's almost tragic to watch the server destroy this architectural marvel table-side to make it easier to eat. The "cake" portion of spicy tuna on crispy rice cakes in uzu and garlic sauce. It's delicious...
