I ordered the burger and it was terrible. My companion ordered the special. One might think that the special would be like Mom's cooking. This was not the case. The baked chicken and dressing was a dried out piece of boneless chicken breast the was dry and shriveled

Good eats featuring country style cooking like grandma used to make. Bar-B-Que daily, country sausage. The place is a converted drive in theater with plenty of seating. The whole menu is good and reasonably priced. Reservations not required.

I saw this place near the hospital earlier in the week and it looked interesting so I made a point to stop in for dinner on my way back to San Antonio. I decided to try the beef and sausage combo plate with Sauer kraut, German potato salad and pinto beans. The sausage was ok but I prefer more spice.... More

It was really smoky in there the night we ate - the exhaust had backed up or something. But it was nice to see they really smoked their meats, and they had it cleared up pretty quick. I had a sliced beef sandwich which was just the right amount of delicious brisket in a nice sauce that seemed to be... More

Wonderful Bbq sandwich. We didn't know what to expect for a place in the middle of nowhere (we're from England) but were greeted by nice staff and great food.

Went there last year. Drab interior. No food smells coming out of the kitchen. Seems that you get reheated meat. Staff were 2 young women who did not greet us. Won't return.

If you want a chopped BBQ sandwich without overindulging - grab one of these to satisfy your hunger. Good pies and a nice place to enjoy a good family meal. Also first Sunday of the month - the best turkey and dressing plates you can ask for until Thanksgiving.

Ate here for lunch once on business, with a party of 7. Restaurant was not crowded. Took 20 minutes to get our order taken, another 40 minutes to get our food. There was nothing special about the BBQ. Staff was just milling around, not paying any attention to customers.

Nice ambience, delicious food with generous portions, great value. We had breakfast there (toast is made with homemade bread, served with homemade jams), ordered barbecue to go, had the best coconut pie (only $1.95!) for dessert. They also sell jams, honey, bread, sausages and jerky. Will definitely return there!
