The food was good though abundant (what they call "family" portion is for a family of 10, not 4). The coleslaw is too creamy for my taste, the fried pickles a little dry, the fries were good. We had to wait 10' and the receptionist was cold as ice

The fried chicken is very crunchy and tasty. If you want livers and/or gizzards, you ususally have to wait for 10 minutes or so, but it's worth the wait. The rolls are light and buttery. If you don't eat all of them, you can freeze them and later make the best croutons out of them!

I stopped in at lunch earlier this week and had the 9 Gizzards Combo. In reality there were over a dozen Gizzards in my box along with Fries, a Biscuit and Creme Gravy. The combo comes with a large sweet tea or soda. Service was slow, but it was noon, and they were packed inside with many, many cars in... More

Sometimes you just have to cut looks and spoil yourself. This is a good place to do it. Yummy biscuits topped with salty butter. Crispy crunchy light battered chicken. Fried okra and corn bites. Dang, I wish this place had a hall pass in calories because we would eat there once a week if it did.

Chicken Express is hard to beat for a good, quick Chicken lunch. Service is quick, the waitstaff looks for opportunities to save you money. The chicken is tasty and not dried out. Fries and rolls are hot and delicious. I am not a big chicken fan, but this is where I go when I want a change of pace in... More

We heard this was a good place to eat and decided to have dinner here. The service was fast, courteous, and accurate. We will return.

I enjoy eating here. It is NOT healthy at all. However, sometimes a girl needs some chicken fingers and gravy. I do not find the chicken fingers too greasy which is a huge plus. I love their rolls as well. The drinks on the lunch deals are HUGE. For some reason they have to get you the ice. They usually... More

This place has been in Lakeway for a while now. The only problem is that from time to time the chicken is dry and over cooked. Look them up online and call to request freshly cooked. Sides are standard fair.

This place is a wreck. My chicken livers tasted like they were reheated in oil. I asked for xtra sauce for my chicken tenders and there was 1 package only. The oil was so thick my stomach hurt for 2 days. This place is the only chicken place in lakeway i reccomend going to Randalls instead.

It's fast food and fried chicken, but they keep it clean and fast and it tastes great. It's country texas decor is nice. It's always a good experience when I eat here.
