Frog Legs are excellent. I have also tried Shrimp, Alligator, Catfish, Oysters and Crayfish. All are very good. Recommend their Red Beans and Rice as side dish. Great Service.

Been here once, the place is a bar. If you know that you're going to a bar, that serves average cajun, you won't be disappointed.

Nice proporty with friendly service, but food was generic and overpriced for the quality. Maybe this is a good place to come have a drink with friends, but the food was underwhelming.

This was a last minute decision to go to Gators Bayou after planning on Mexican food. We ordered the grilled tuna and blackened catfish. Both were of high quality and cooked to near perfection. The sweet potato fries were average but vegetables were very good. My friend ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was very good. Service was... More

This place have great catfish and "yummie" po boy shrimp & catfish sandwiches! Off the chart! Environment is small and cozy!

My husband and I ate here a couple of times in July. We had the gator bites which were really great. We also had the Blackened Catfish which was wonderful the first time, but really salty the second time. The second time on Thursday night they had a Jazz band which was really fun! We would definitely go back and... More

Hubby wanted something tropical, so I checked TA and found Gators Bayou on TA. We stopped in and had Pina Colada and Peach Bellini and gator bites. Drinks made by Vanessa were great and alligator bites very tender, tasty, and not overdone. Odd thing is that, during the day, all personnel are women. Male bartenders added at night shift. Despite... More

My son and I stopped in after our baseball game last night. He had the shrimp basket with sweet potato fries and I had the combo basket of catfish and shrimp (with fries). The shrimp was excellent! Some of the better breaded shrimp I've had. They had really good flavor and a little bit of spice. The breading is not... More

My boys love this place! They always order the kids catfish and I am a fan of the wraps. They have a nice large seating area outside so there usually isn't a wait. The staff is great and the prices are decent.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Crowed with much attuned staff. But the Cajun food missed its mark. I had the Fried Crawfish and Fried Shrimp with Cajun mac and cheese. The Crawfish and shrimp were overly bread and lacked Cajun flavor and so did the mac and cheese. It was also room temperature. My wife had fried... More
