We stopped by expecting a deli and found a charming Italian bistro. No reservations, but we waited less than 5 minutes to be seated. The fried caprese salad was particularly good with an interesting balsamic glaze and an incredibly fresh pesto. Randy enjoyed a rich and tasty chicken soup, chock full of potatoes, carrots and well seasoned broth. The martini... More

Recently my husband and I had dinner at Stella's on a Saturday night. I ordered the Hallibut with orange, etc sauce. It was so very, very good. Many of the sauces are peppery and/or spicy for me which I can't eat, but this sauce was superb. Also have weekend homemade soups that can be so wonderful--ham and potato with leeks.... More

I was here for a birthday party. I ordered angel hair pasta with shrimp scampi, it tasted alright. Great ambience for a date night or event. Good choices of wines and spirits.

I took my wife and family here for Mothers day. The "special menu" that they had that day was horrible and way overpriced. They crammed a bunch of extra tables in to maximaze their profits. We will not be going here again. Very disappointed.

Tried Stella's on graduation night for Texas Tech and the place was very crowded but this did not diminish the quality of food or service. Had the veal parmesan which was excellent.

Food bland. From the soup to the Cashew chicken meal. The soup was supposed to be jalapeno beef , but could not taste any peppers. The Cashew crusted chicken was something like a frozen dinner with instant mashed potatoes. And really, a small glass of merlot wine for $13, ridiculous, this was suggested by one of the friends I was... More

The atmosphere, which offers live music and a charming decore, makes it one of the best places to take a date in Lubbock. The food is delicious (and just keep the free bread coming), and it really doesn't cost much more than Olive Garden.

The atmosphere for this restaurant is the best part! Its really nice setting, pretty lights outside but that's about it. The food is ok, but nothing special about it. They do offer drink specials but that only applies to people who sit at the bar, which seems unfair?? They dont tell you that up front, so if you think you... More

Owned and managed by a former New Tork City guy turned Texan, Stella's is a Lubbock mainstay. Great for lunch or dinner. We especially enjoy their pizza.
