I normally get a seafood platter or fried shrimp, but wanted to try something else. Got the catfish. It was ok, but I was not impressed and probably would not get again. Side dishes were great as well as service.

My wife and I meet her Mother here for the Thursday night prime rib special about every 6 weeks. Always crowded, but minimal wait times to be seated. Great Staff, always friendly and competent. Full bar, with a good beer selection. My favorite, and I wish more restaurant/bars had them, are the raw oyster shooters with either vodka or tequila... More

I had been out on the backroads checking out the stunning displays of wildflowers and as I drove into Marble Falls at lunch time saw this restaurant which looked inviting. There was free parking so I pulled in and went inside where I discovered I was the only guest. I waited to be seated and given a menu. When the... More

There wasn't anything really bad during our stop, it just wasn't that memorable. My wife had a trout special and I had a pairing of grilled shrimp and their peel and eat shrimp. The dirty rice was a little tame for the taste. The side salads were fresh enough. The trout was close in looks to a nice pan fried... More

On our last night in Marble Falls we opted for a simple seafood dinner that was light, tasty, and didn't break the bank. Doc's was the perfect prescription. Reminiscent of a fish camp cook shack, the interior was warm and inviting. A local band was playing but we opted to dine a bit away from them so we could talk.... More

Had not eaten at this restaurant in years. Had a hunger for some fried seafood. Ordered the Combo Basket (Shrimp and Fish). The result was a basket containing three shrimp and a puny piece of fish. By puny, I mean a piece of fish that only provided 4 or 5 modest bites. And the cost was $14.99 for the basket.... More

The best calamari we've had in a long time (and we try it everywhere). Our meal was hot and fresh when it arrived. Jennifer, our server was attentive and friendly - don't get service like that often. Overall a great dining experience.

For some reason we've ignored this place every time we drove through Marble Falls. It is certainly convenient, as we come on 1431 and it is right on the corner where we turn. After a day of wildflower photography, we were tired and ready for a really nice meal, so we decided to give it a try. Maybe we thought... More

Read the reviews on here and thought it would be "fresh" seafood. Well I would say it was fresh from a box they retrieved from the freezer! I ordered the Jumbo Gulf Shrimp and my husband ordered the Fisherman's platter and we could have gone to the freezer department at any grocery store and picked up seafood just as good!... More
