An interesting industrial building, friendly staff and good pizza. Intrigued to see Newcastle Brown as a beer choice! Evening made by the German radio station playing only Depeche Mode. Quality all round.

Stopped here to eat on our way back home to Fort Davis. As always it was great pizza, with great friendly service. This place also has a great selection of area beer, and good selection of wines. It's so funny to see the negative reviews were about how long it took to get pizza. These reviews were around spring break... More
They only serve one size-18 inch pizza. It was terrific, thin crust with several toppings to choose from. Several varieties of beer, wine and soda to choose from and a nice Greek salad too. We had some for dinner and saved the rest for lunch the next day. Fun atmosphere with indoor seating and outdoor patio seating in the shade.
We phoned ahead on a Saturday afternoon and were told 45 min so we place our order, showed up 30 min later and then still waited about another 40 min. Plan accordingly! At least the pizza was really tasty, and their beer prices were fantastic considering you can easily go through 1-4 in the time it takes to wait.
We were greeted, at 6pm, by a woman who hollered from behind the bar "it's a 2 hour wait and you have to wait here'. We walked out.
I actually said you don't have to wait here. We can get cell phone numbers and call people back when their pizza is almost ready. Spring break is particularly busy so the wait can even get longer than 2 hours. We suggest calling in your order ahead of time and then arriving when it gets closer. Unfortunately we only have... The pizza was good. The smallest pizza you could order would feed a family of 4 or 5 easily. Service was nice and quick.
Family run and owned, The pizza is huge, thin crust and the best in Texas... off the main road as you come into Marfa from the east, you turn left at the blinking yellow light by the dollar store.
Pizza Foundation is just as good or better than Boston or NYC. You will need plenty of time to wait or you better call ahead. I think they only have 1 oven so sometimes there is a 2 hour wait. Worth it id you have the time!!
The problem with most places in Marfa are the limited number of days most places are open. I love the pizza at the Pizza Foundation - I just wish they were open more days.
